MPS (Microcurrent Point Stimulation) Pain Therapy is a chronic pain therapy that treats the entire body to reduce sympathetic nervous system stress for muscular relaxation and pain relief, such as back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, and arthritis pain. MPS Pain Therapy uses a small pen-like electrical device called a Dolphin Neurostim to apply brief, concentrated direct current (DC) micro-impulses to key acupuncture points and trigger points that reduce nervous system stress to relax muscles and relieve pain.

MPS Pain Therapy is clinically proven to reduce chronic pain even more than massage or traditional acupuncture. During the treatment, you may feel a slight tingling or stinging sensation at the more therapeutically active points while you won't feel anything at more inactive points. MPS Pain Therapy can be done fully clothed but please wear comfortable clothing (no jeans!) as we do need to make skin contact with points on your back and legs as well as your hands, feet, and possibly neck and face (depending on the areas of pain we are treating). You may wish to bring a pair of shorts and a T-shirt or tank top to change into before treatment.

MPS Scar Release Therapy is a scar reduction treatment that is simple and highly effective for reducing the negative influence of scars. Using the latest scientific advances to address both chronic pain and dermal scarring that occurs post-surgery, SRT applies Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS), a patented solution based on the scientific concept of increasing skin’s inter-cellular metabolism, protein synthesis, and healing functioning, to reawaken the skin’s ability to self generate.

We all accumulate scars and traumas throughout our lives, and they impact our bodies in many negative ways. The pain and health issues we have in our older years may be directly related to the number and severity of the scars we accumulate over time!
Some of the ways that scars negatively impact the body include:
*Chronic Pain
*Activate Stress
*Injure Fascia
*Impede Lymph Flow
*Restrict Functional Movements

Scar Release Therapy is painless, and visible changes in scar appearance are observed in real-time. Once a scar has been released there is fascia release & stress reduction, increasing blood circulation and lymph drainage. Scar Release Therapy is highly recommended for treating scars on your body quickly and efficiently.

While most people experience a noticeable improvement after just one treatment, a course of 4-6 treatments per scar is required for full benefits.

MPS Scar Release Therapy can generally be done fully clothed (depending on scar location) but we do need to make skin contact with the scar as well as with a point on the lower leg. You may wish to bring a pair of shorts to change into before treatment. Scars on the hip or groin (such as from a hip replacement surgery) may require the removal of some clothing and draping with a sheet.
